Job Description

Avante Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Internal Admissions Coordinator to represent the facility with the area hospitals and other medical professionals. A member of the marketing team and an important part of the overall team approach in the facility.

This opening is for Mon - Fri, shift 8:30 AM - 5 PM. 

Job Requirements

• Must possess the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing. • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, visitors and the general public. • Excellent administrative skills are required • Must have knowledge of medical terminology. • Must have knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid. HMO and other insurances. • Software knowledge - Outlook, Excel, Word • Must understand and be up to date with the Federal and State standards for SNF’s related to admissions. • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as needed • Network established within the community is a big plus • Also responsible for building tours

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in related field
