Avante Group Inc., a Skilled and Long-Term Care Company, is seeking to grow and expand the Corporate Centralized Billing Office (CBO).  Your expertise will be acknowledged and utilized to enrich our practices with greater efficiencies.  Team support and team projects are expected, supported and encouraged.  


Essential Job Functions:

  • Billing Medicare, Medicaid, HMO Insurance, Co-Insurance claims
  • Process Month end close
  • Posting of cash receipts
  • Monthly billing for assigned facilities
  • Daily HMO, Co-Insurance and Medicaid claims follow up for assigned facilities
  • Daily follow up on Medicare claims with intermediary
  • Prepare Medicaid reimbursable bad debt
  • Posting of ancillary charges
  • Posting of approved bad debt
  • All other duties assigned


This opening is for Mon - Fri, shift 8:30 AM - 5 PM. 

Job Requirements


  • Must possess great organization skills
  • Must attend to detail
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Must have mathematical aptitude, be computer literate, ability to use Word, Outlook, Excel and Internet applications.
  • Must enjoy innovation, growth, and expansion.
  • Must be team player

Education / Experience

  • AA degree preferred but not required
  • Bookkeeping, Nursing Home or Medical Office background is a plus
